The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 requires that local educational agencies (LEAs) identified for Program Improvement (PI) shall develop or revise an LEA Plan, in consultation with parents, school staff, and others. As recommended the California Department of Education, the Nevada Jt. Union High School District completed a Plan Addendum using the required template.

In preparing the Addendum to the LEA Plan, the NJUHSD worked to identify ways in which the prior the existing LEA Plan fell short.  Specific activities were targeted to improve the achievement of underperforming students.
